A few years ago, the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM) developed STOP (Sports Trauma and Overuse Prevention), a comprehensive public outreach program that focuses on the importance of sports safety — specifically relating to overuse and trauma injuries. Whether you are an athlete, coach or parent, STOP provides sports injury prevention tips and tools to make sure safety is your first priority.
